The Hvítá river, born from a glacier, offers a mix of calm spots and exciting rapids. You’ll cover 7 kilometers, soaking in views you can only get from the water.

Stop off at Brúarhlöð canyon for a chance to leap into the river if you’re feeling brave! Don’t worry, we’ll gear you up with wetsuits and life jackets for safety. No experience needed – it’s perfect for anyone over 11 years old.

Experience the beauty of Iceland from a unique perspective as you glide down the Hvítá river. After the adventure, kick back in hot tubs and saunas and treat yourself to a tasty BBQ meal at Drumbó River Base.

• Warm wool socks. This might get wet during your tour. Don’t wear cotton as it will not keep you warm when wet
• Warm wool or fleece sweater and thermal underwear (pants) to wear underneath the wetsuit.
